The Spring installment of Style Spotlight, a tradition upheld by Wavelength and by the students who come by with their fits and fashion sense. The weather, like Bellingham, was unpredictable and chaotic.
On the first day, it rained: but that didn’t stop Wavelength from putting in the work to make sure every fit was captured, and every style was known. Like the rain, students percolated through Red Square, letting their sense of style be photographed.
On the second day, the sun finally came out. But it was a quieter day than the first, and not many students came by to get their pictures taken. Only until the last hour, right as when I was wanting to pack up, did students begin to crowd around the camera.
It was a great event; it’s been an honor, and I’m excited to see the work done by the next photographer for Wavelength. The experiences made through Style Spotlight, along with the other projects during my time, will be remembered forever with gratitude. I hope the next photographer has as much fun as I did.
