About
The mission of KUGS-FM is to serve the students of Western Washington University in Bellingham, Wash., by providing a diverse program of music and information consistent with student interests. The Board of Trustees of Western Washington University holds the license and the Student Engagement Staff operates the station. KUGS is staffed by volunteers who are committed to providing programming that encourages a greater understanding of the human differences and cultural pluralism within the university community and the world we live in. Through its programming, KUGS serves as a bridge from the university to the surrounding community.

Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities are available to current Western Washington University students.
As a KUGS-FM volunteer, you can:
- Get official KUGS training to know the ins and outs of the station as well as radio operation
- Learn how to host your own music program
- Get official KUGS training for public affairs: our very own news team that reports on local stories
- Help host KUGS events, street-team-style
- Be part of the KUGS and WWU family and play a greater part in the Bellingham community

Ticket Giveaways
The following information applies to all giveaways by KUGS-FM broadcast at 89.3 FM and promoted on kugs.org and/or KUGS-FM social media accounts. There is a delay between the broadcast and online, participants should not rely on the online stream in order to participate.
Eligibility
KUGS-FM Contests are open to anyone 18 years or older. Current KUGS-FM employees and volunteers are NOT eligible.
Prizes
Prize redemption may vary, concert tickets may either be will-call at the venue (requiring photo identification) or a to be picked up at the KUGS-FM. This information will be indicated at the time tickets are won. If there are tickets to be picked up (with photo identification), winners must claim the tickets at the KUGS-FM office 700 Viking Union, Western Washington University, during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm, excluding when WWU is closed.
